The Gladney Adoption Process:
Clear Steps to Your Child
Clear Steps to Your Child
We believe the adoption process should be clear and predictable. Our experienced team will guide you through every stage, from your first question to the day you bring your child home and beyond.
1.
educating and getting started
Your journey begins with education. We invite you to watch our on-demand Domestic Infant Adoption Webinar, which covers our program in detail, including timelines, costs, and the home study process. This is the perfect first step to see if Gladney is the right fit for your family.
2.
the home study and family profile
Once you move forward, you will complete a home study, which is an overview of your life, family, and home environment. At the same time, you’ll create a beautiful family profile book. This is what birth mothers will see when they are choosing a family, and we’ll help you create a profile that genuinely reflects who you are.
3.
Matching and Placement
This is the heart of the journey. When a birth mother who has made an adoption plan selects your family, our team will facilitate the introduction and communication. We manage all the legal and logistical details, so you can focus on preparing for your baby’s arrival.
4.
Post-Adoption Support for Life
Bringing your child home is just the beginning of your family’s story and your relationship with Gladney. We offer lifelong post-adoption services, including parenting education, support groups, and access to a community of other adoptive families.
